Over the past several years, Arie realized through his personal experiences that gerontology was the field in which he was genuinely interested. Turning to this field required several very difficult decisions as he had become quite successful in the greenhouse industry, obtaining a very enviable position managing employees and overseeing operations.
However, the thought of being able to work in a heartfelt manner and fulfill his passion at the side of seniors when they are often left without the options to maintain their dignity and independence, far outweighed his past career choices.
His business/management experience and customer focused style is a definite asset, but most of all the passion that he brings with him for maintaining every seniors dignity, independence and respect is directly in line with the views of Retire-At-Home.

Mrs. Martin founded Retire-At-Home with the philosophy that quality care must address both the emotional and the physical health of an individual.
